What Is Hypnosis?
Our conscious mind is always turned on. We use our conscious mind and 5 senses to process everything we see, hear, feel, taste and smell. It likes to be busy. It never wants to rest and often does not let our bodies rest.
Our subconscious mind operates differently. Our emotions, beliefs and memories are all here.The
subconscious mind is more open to suggestion and will follow the instructions it is given.

Hypnosis helps a person reach a very relaxed state permitting them to hear and recall the suggestions made by the hypnotist. The hypnotized person will absorb this information better because they are in a relaxed state and really not paying attention to everything around them.
You have experienced the hypnotic state many times. It can be compared to daydreaming or being absorbed in a good book or movie. Hypnosis relaxes you so you can reach the levels of the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is so much more powerful than the conscious mind but most people don't know how to tap into that power and that power can heal.
